Having too much data confuses people and can delay how fast an organizations make decisions. Your learning systems probably contains a multitude of data, but how do you make sense of that data and make it actionable? There is no one-size-fits-all strategy, but there are some simple questions you can ask yourself and your organization to help you create a data strategy.
With a methodology of questions you will be able to move towards a data strategy in a simple and effective way. Once you know who cares, about what, and what data you have, you can turn that into reports and dashboards to enable users to consume and react to all that data.
At this session we’ll discuss those questions, some strategies for how to determine what information is actionable and what is just noise, and some ideas on how to use data to tell a story to your users.
