EXPOB103: Training Agents to Train: Designing Learning Systems for the Agentic Enterprise
As AI agents become embedded in the workplace, the next challenge for learning leaders is not deploying tools, but training those agents to train.
In the emerging human-and-agent workplace, knowledge can no longer live only in courses, documents, or LMS workflows. Organizations need a new foundation: a knowledge system that structures institutional expertise so AI agents can guide, explain, and personalize support in real time.
In this session, we’ll explore how L&D teams can design agent-ready knowledge bases and activate existing content through rich media, AI avatars, and conversational learning experiences. We’ll look at how immersive AI learning is already being used to create personalized learning experiences and opportunities for skills practice, and how one global enterprise is using an AI knowledge assistant to help teams find answers faster, uncover new and relevant content, reduce reliance on support teams, and deliver value almost immediately.
The result: a shift from content libraries and training tools to active knowledge teammates that support learning and guide employees through the flow of work.
During this session, you will learn:
- How to turn existing content libraries into knowledge systems that AI agents can use.
- How to prepare organizational knowledge for accurate, contextual, and personalized learning.
- How conversational agents and AI role-play can help employees learn, practice, and build skills.
- How L&D's role is evolving from creating courses to designing learning experiences that support employees in the flow of work.
