Sarah leads the team at Build Capable, helping organizations strengthen their instructional strategy, learning technology, and operational data. She has partnered with global enterprises, nonprofits, government agencies, and small businesses, and that work led to the patent-pending, award-winning Build Capable XCL, which lets teams launch and track learning experiences without an LMS.

Sarah offers practical recommendations drawn from real work in learning ecosystems and data strategy. She believes inclusion and accessibility is a core part of workforce learning and is the editor of, and one of 26 contributors to, Design for All Learners: Create Accessible and Inclusive Learning Experiences (2025).

When she’s not working, Sarah is usually looking for marine life (sea otters are her favorite), hunting for rocks to tumble, painting, hiking, or catching live music.
