Naomi Thomas is an instructional designer specializing in complex and technical content, with experience across higher education and corporate learning. She currently serves as an instructional designer at the University of Washington's Global Innovation Exchange, where she collaborates with subject matter experts across engineering, business, and design to develop interdisciplinary courses and facilitate faculty workshops. She also contributes to external learning initiatives through university partnerships, including work connected to Microsoft.

Previously, Naomi designed aviation and engineering courses at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and developed technical customer education at Actian. She was a Top 5 winner in the iSpring Course Creation Contest and has since mentored participants in the program. She holds an M.A. in Instructional Design & Technology and is particularly interested in online and hybrid learning, accessibility, and intentional course design.
