Tal Castillo is an award-winning animator and learning developer. After graduating and interning at animation studios, Tal began her eLearning journey with Artha Learning Inc., where she creates meaningful learning experiences as their Multimedia Designer, and is currently stepping into the role of Development Lead.

Backed by an Associate's Degree in Illustration and an Hon. Bachelor's Degree from Sheridan College's world-renowned animation program, Tal has worked on award-winning projects and short films, including directing a recent selection at the San Diego Comic Con Int'l Film Festival. She used her unique blend of visual design and development expertise to develop Outbreak, the gamified hospital simulation that took home Best in Show at DevLearn's 2025 Demofest.

Tal loves contributing to L&D community-wide events like Articulate's 2026 Rise Hackathon, where her interactive painting code block won 3rd place. She leads training workshops as part of Artha's AI Accelerator program, and internally for her team through lunch-and-learns on animation, AI for multimedia, and practical updates on AI tools. Her leadership, dedication to thoughtful learning, and creativity have allowed her to fill a unique niche in her team as a designer, presenter, and leader. Tal thrives on pushing the boundaries of what's possible, not approaching builds as boxes to be checked but as creative problems to be solved.
